NB: This product is not compatible with British wiring regulations and can only be used in countries that use the SCHUKO socket standard!
These switches come with an optional 2.5mm thick, fire-retardant base plate made from the same material. This is required by fire safety regulations, in case you surface-mount the unit to combustible material such as wood or plasterboard.
